Synopsis
Hamza is a middle-aged man who refuses to abandon a routine he has kept since his release from Israeli jail; every day, he goes into the woods to hunt a lion that the locals don’t believe exists.

Biography
Ward Kayyal is a young director from Haifa, Palestine.. He directed his debut short film, Hamza: Chasing The Ghost Chasing Me, in 2022.
His vision to enrich the Palestinian cultural scene is reflected in his critical presentation of current political and social issues through a production that depends on crowdfunding and social involvement in the creative process.
