Synopsis

In Gaza, Abu Anwar stubbornly runs the only fried-chicken restaurant, sticking to his one old recipe and refusing to change a thing. His son, Anwar, feels stuck in the boring routine and frustrated that his father won’t try anything new—especially with the chicken. One day, after a big argument, Anwar quits and has no idea what to do next—until he convinces his friends to try a wild plan: smuggling world-famous fried chicken into Gaza.

What starts as a small gamble quickly becomes a hit, giving people a rare taste of the outside world. Excited, Anwar tries to share his success with his father, but Abu Anwar just shrugs and doesn’t hear him. As the smuggling grows, Anwar realizes he’s putting his father’s restaurant in danger. Then the occupation shuts down their operation, crushing their little venture—but brings father and son closer, stronger, and a little wiser together.
